It is a general-purpose phenolic antioxidant used for a wide range of applications.
RIANOX BHT can be used in polyolefins such as polyethylene, polypropylene, and polybutene, as well as in olefin copolymers like EVA copolymers. It is also recommended for use in elastomers and other synthetic rubbers such as POM, PA, PUR, polyester, PVC, styrene polymers, ABS, IIR, SBS, SEBS, EPM, EPDM, adhesives, natural/synthetic adhesive resins, and other organic substrates.
